Red Exclamation Marks

ok.. so i have ttw installed and only a handful of mods. I used to have a mod on design for FNV that erased data from the game due to it not being used, I hadn't realized at the time that it would conflict with FO3's side of ttw.

Now long after that mod has been disabled, uninstalled, deleted, and ttw has been reinstalled, AND I started a new game. I'm back at my first FO3 dlc, point lookout, and i've discovered the same red exclamation marks as before.

Normally I wouldn't care but from past experience, I already know it becomes game-breaking as one of these exclamation marks is a quest item that I have to pick up.

I'm at the point where I have no idea what to do. This mod is nowhere on my computer anymore, I'm under a totally new game under a totally fresh installation. Is this it? Is this the most I can do? Is my game just broken and no reinstallation of any kind is going to fix this? I've never been so confused. Am I supposed to reinstall my operating system?? Like wtf.

If anyone has the slightlest clue as to either how to save my existing game saves, or how I can fix the game in such a way that if I start a new game (again), that this issue would maybe be fixed then?

If it helps, the specific mod I had used that originally caused this issue was this one: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/51871/?

Maybe someone (because idk how) can find what this mod deletes and make a reversed version of this mod that gives me all of those things? I don't even know if that will work but I don't know how easy or hard it is to make such a thing.

Try doing a 'clean slate' install. Delete everything (back up your mods) and then reinstall the game, TTW, and then your other mods. That would be easier than trying to figure out what all it deleted.

Like all requests for help, please post a load order, system specs, and install log.

What version of Point Lookout did you use? Steam? Disc? Disc GOTY edition? etc.

I don't know what version of the games that are running but it's through Steam and they keep those games up to date. So game of the year edition for everything, of course, latest version.. w/e that might be..

just an update on the problem: i uninstalled both games and reinstalled them and nothing changed.

i'm totally flustered

oh and fo3 apparently can't run independently, it crashes on launch

No mesh inside mesh folder I assume.

Can you post a screen shot to "see" what may be missing, might help figure out what's up

~~how do i take a screenshot? print screen & paste doesn't do it for me, it just grabs my desktop~~

i just used fraps for the screenshots. attached.

i reinstalled most of my mods, this is pretty much how my game was before i reinstalled both games and ttw. results are exactly the same. Only thing I can think of doing is wiping all my hard drives, reinstalling win7 and starting everything all over again.

thx but i jused used fraps, i didn't feel like going on a wild goose chase just to find a damn screenshot. I'm dealing with enough with this game as it is.
