Upon Launching New Vegas, I have no Menu, game freezes

Is there no fix for this? I've literally tried every solution on here to no avail.

I did however get an error about the fallout_prefs.ini not being changed because it was already in use. Could that have something to do with it? What exactly is added/changed to it?

So I tried disabling everything TTW related and run Fallout New Vegas on its own and the no menu bug is still occurring. Now what?

If it's happening without TTW then it's something wrong with your install. REinstall is now what.

I assume that you installed TTW over top of a modded FNV?

Yes, quite heavily. I already reinstalled NV, so should I just continue to attempt to install TTW with a clean NV and Fallout 3? I can post the mods I was using with NV if that would be of any use.

I also want to apologize if my last post came off a bit douchebaggy-ish. I was slightly irritated attempting to get the mod to function.

Always check esps in Wrye Bash to see how the masters look. FNVEdit does it too but I like Wrye coz of all the pretty colours.

Fresh install of both games (steam ultimate nv and steam goty fo3), and only installed TTW main mod (as above), but getting the freeze on start / no start menu thing. So far, I have tried using NMM, FOMM (with the new exe), and manual install, same results across the board. New vegas runs fine without TTW installed. I got no errors while running the installer. Waiting did nothing. At this point i'm hesitant to even ask for a next step, because I feel like anything relatively easy is already in this thread, but any ideas? Thanks.

Disable The TTW esm's one at a timestarting with TTW.esm and working your way up to Fallout3.esm. Test after each esm is disabled. One of them is the problem.

Same issue all the way through to fallout3.esm, didnt happen once they were all unchecked. Dont think it matters but i'm running the game without NVSE or the 4gb loader currently.

Also because i forgot last time: windows 7 64bit, 16 gig ram, i7 2.8 processor.
