once you have finished the conversion process and saved, reload just the converted mod in FNVEdit. i.e. at the FNVEdit screen where you can choose which files to load, make sure your converted mod is the ONLY one checked.
-
once the loader is finished, expand the Fallout.esm. -
then expand the Ammunition sub-heading. select the .32 ammo. -
at the bottom of the main window, click the References tab. (there should be 2 columns of data. the left column are the actual entries where the .32 ammo is used. the right column is the esp where the entries are.) -
double-click on an entry in the left column, that is in the converted mod (this will take you to the record you need to edit.) -
change the reference of .32 ammo to .22 (pistols) or .308 (rifles) as appropriate. -
if your mouse has a "Back" button (like you would use in web browsing), hit that to take you back to the .32 reference list, otherwise manually select the .32 ammo in the Fallout.esm again -
rinse and repeat 2-6 until all references of .32 ammo are remove from your converted mod.
use the same process to convert shotgun ammo to 12ga and 20ga as appropriate
