My Load order is all standard

Post by Appletart » Fri Dec 27, 2013 7:36 pm

My Load order is all standard NV + DLCs at the top, Courier Stash in the middle and all TTW modded files with the Fo3 first and TTW after.

It was a clean install of New Vegas so no other mods installed and the game booted up before i started the mod.

Hmm my version of Fo3 is the current version and no mods installed as its sole purpose is for TTW.

I'm missing Fallout-Vioces and MenuVoices?

Should i attempt a clean install on both again?

No, upon further examination

No, upon further examination it appears that all those voice errors are a coding problem, it is trying to delete files from the wrong BSA. Basically, the installer is detecting errors that aren't actually there. So if you can get in game, you are fine.

I can't, it just freezes on

Post by Appletart » Sat Dec 28, 2013 5:24 pm

I can't, it just freezes on the Bethesda Studios load screen, the music continues to play but i don't progress from that screen. I don't even get to the menu. I've installed three times on clean installs and its the same result each time. I don't understand whats wrong

When you do a clean install, do you clear out your FNV ini files?

It might. I would delete your entire my games/FalloutNV folder and try again. Back up your saves of course.

I'll give that a try and get back to you and backing up saves won't matter since i plan to start a new game. I hope it works as i've never had this problem before with the previous versions

I uninstalled and deleted the my games NV folder and reinstalled cleanly. I installed all the DLCs for NVs and updated it to the latest version and tried to run it. The game, unmodified, froze in the exact same place. I don't understand what has changed to cause this but I fear it was now my computer. I've just reformatted my computer, started again from scratch. I'm in the process of reinstalling everything. I hope this has solved my issue cause if it hasn't then I don't know what I can do.
