Train to Nowhere (Probably because I'm inept)

Post by ThePrinceKing » Sat Jan 28, 2017 5:38 am

Hello again

I've been having a blast playing through Fallout 3 with this mod, however I've run into difficulties:

I decided to take the train to New Vegas just to see how its done.  I've finished all necessary preparations in the train station, including purchasing a literal "Ticket to New Vegas"; however when I enter the train and pull the switch that should send me on my way, nothing happens.

I'm hoping someone will be able to enlighten me on this soon, as I am planning on doing a video series on YouTube with this mod.

Any assistance is welcome, and I hope whomever reads this has a pleasant rest of their day!

Make sure you have the hotfixes installed, if you are using difficult journey or the start up menu, make sure you have the ones which were updated for the hotfix. Instances of the switch not working are usually related to mismatched versions of these things.

I'm using the "manly" version of Difficult journey - downloaded it from this particular comment of your's: https://taleoftwowastelands.com/comment/47020#comment-47020

And I'm using the particular version of Start Up Menu from this comment:  https://taleoftwowastelands.com/comment/44493#comment-44493

Try disabling start up menu, it's not necessary anyways unless you want to start in NV.
