Heard about this mod a while ago from a friend and was interested but I was just midpoint in a playthrough of NV.. Decided to give it a go now, but I had a question.

By the time you get to New Vegas you'll already be very high level with tons of loot and great gear, right? Won't you be extremely overpowered?

This question has been asked a number of times. If you search the forums, you will see that there are a number of mods, which, in a logical manner, alleviate the threat of being OP in New Vegas. Adjusting settings in mods like Project Nevada can further solve the issue. My way to solve the problem was to set the game so that leveling up no longer automatically raises your health and is tied to Endurance ( same for npcs), stopped skills from affecting the amount of damage dealt with a weapon (and instead affect accuracy and efficiency), and installed the mod that has your DC equipment looted from you by one of Benny's accomplices (he will use your gear, until you get it back).

Most of the info you might need has been discussed countless times on the forums, and/or is covered in the FAQ. Search button is your friend. The Discord channel is your second-best friend, like a grumpy, coffee-deficient friend at 6 am in the morning. You will also get help there, but the devs will be sad if you don't check the forums first. So all in all, welcome aboard.

Alright, thanks for the answers. I'll try using that nifty search feature next time when I have more questions.
