Hey Everyone, this is my first post in the forums so first off thank you to all the creators of TTW and the Modders. You've all filled this site with an insane amount of material to make the Fallout universe an even more amazing experience than developers ever considered with the inception of Fallout 3. A huge thanks to all site admins and moderators as well that have organized so many useful and amazing resources!
I'm dankoB from the Porting Team. We're a group of individuals that have been fueling the DIY mac gaming community for almost eight years. I joined in January, 2010 and was amazed at the work the users of the site were creating for everyone to access. Not disimmilar of the TTW community actually! We use Wine to translates Windows APIs to language that Unix systems can understand and process. Using Wine can be a bit complicated because the program needs to be installed in your home directory at root level. Wine has been made accessible by many programs such as CrossOver and Wine Bottler however the most commonly used Wine front end at the Porting Team is definitely Wineskin. By downloading Wineskin Winery from the downloads page you will be able to create standalone apps that can run Windows programs and games on your Mac with BootCamp or a virtual machine. The Wineskin app is located just inside the package contents of the app. You can access Wineskin from the wrapper by holding the alt/option button while double clicking the Wineskin wrapper. If you're interested in using the app check out the Wineskin Manual
So...as the tile of the topic states, Fallout: A Tale of Two Wastelands is playable on the Mac...although I haven't been able to play through yet based on the fact that every time I actually start in the Capital Wasteland I decide that I need more and more mods that ultimately causes me grief in the end. But after a nice little chat pintocat I think I finally have the issue figured out. I have my wrapper completely configured and ready to start but I haven't done it yet in hopes the community will tell me if there are any issues with my load order! I've already sent it through FNVEdit and the process completed successfully.
Here's where the wrench gets thrown into the gears...Wine is not 100% Windows compatible meaning there are many components of Windows that are not implemented into Wine. The wrapper I have created has the components necessary to install TTW (dotnet4.5) and run FOMM but for some reason using LOOT will crash the wrapper.
My load order can be found at the bottom of the post, my system specs are as well.
If there are any Mac users here be sure to check out the port database and if you need support with any of the wrappers you might download our forums are great place to get answers and solutions to your issues.
Cheers!

I've run TTW with Wine, Crossover, even Parallels but I always seem to go back to a Bootcamp partition because the GECK does not run very well in other environments. (The GECK can be glitchy at best running natively on a windows PC.)
(Just kidding there not really JERKS! However we do have fun arguing about the better system, once in a while.)
