And when you add in Zeta and Broken steel it's over 1000 rounds.
I got the Firelance at the Super-Duper mart on a Luck 10 character play through. Alien Epoxy is a must though.

Same place I looted mine early on, but only luck 4 I think? And "Alien epoxy"? Too early yet for me, but some good huffing opportunity there perhaps? ![]()
RE: .308 ammo, agreed it is relatively rare, and should be IMHO. What I've never seen thus far are 'large rifle primers' anywhere. Yes, I know the console code; I'm ashamed to admit I had a weak moment. But then fate played a joke on me and they all fell through the floor on the flight deck of Rivet City...
I usually manage to buy enough .308 ammo to get by, but I did put some extra .308 ammo in a box further into Vault 106 to go with the Sniper Gear mod I converted. Basically, enough to get started until you can reach enough vendors to buy what you need. Agreed that there needs to be more large pistol and large rifle primer for sale. It's almost impossible to make your own .308 and .50 ammo at an ammo bench in DC.
