New Vegas Stutter Remover. It's on nexus. People say the newer versions that have Fast Exit enabled by default don't work right though. RoyBatty would know more.

4.1.3.1 is the last stable version of NVSR for me. Versions after this don't seem to function properly.

Ok I'm just curious... How does the stutter removal help with this issue of the game not responding or stopping when quiting?

There's a bug in the game with the exit code and it hangs or works improperly. NVSR has a fix for that.


BOSS is horribly outdated and no longer supported. If you must use an automated tool, try LOOT. There is also a sticky post which will help you make manual corrections in the modding sub.

Ok I installed this version NVSR but I still get the issue when I quit. I was fooling around doing some testing of a mod and one of the things I did was to disable everything except FONV to see if the mod worked ok. When I quit from doing the testing the game quit normally without any issues. So my problem is definitely with TTW. Guess I'll try other versions to see if any of them help at all.
