Is there any water in Zeta?

I'm playing through Mothership Zeta in hardcore mode and I've just drunk my last bottle of purified water. I've managed to find one bottle of dirty water so far, which I have with me, but that is it. At this rate I might well die of dehydration before I get back to Earth unless I can find some more water.

Or I guess I could give myself more water with the console, or turn off hardcore mode, but I'd rather not resort to either. So, anyway, is there any more water in Zeta that anyone knows of?

yup. last time we sent Rise up there, he found plenty of water to survive

Those may be the only ones you found but there are tons more if you explore a bit.

Am I the only one that carries at least 10 bottles of water at all times in survival mode?

nope, i'm constantly dropping them to make space for other things. and you can really save a lot of food space when you can eat most of the corpses you make

In my first playthrough of TTW with hardcore mode on, I started Zeta with one water. After playing a lot of Zeta and not finding any water, to the point of almost dying, I stopped and thought about it and came to the conclusion, that it is an alien ship and there is no water on it, and since hardcore mode is not vanilla FO3 I consoled my self 9 waters so I wouldn't die.

Then I discovered for the very first time, the cargo bay and the other side rooms next to each of the generator rooms. D'Oh! Going through the cargo bay I was convinced that it was added by a mod and considered it a cheat! and didnt want to take all the loot in it. After me play session I looked it up found out it was vanilla & that I was very unobservant, I then reloaded an early save and didn't feel too bad about looting everything I wanted.

I quickly checked on GECK for water sources in the space ship because I am so used to play it that I can beat the entire DLC very fast, which is probably faster than most players so I didn't need as much water as all (I also always have at least 5 purified water with me from Wadsworth). I found only a handful of water bottles and a water fountain in the cargo hold.

So I quickly made a plugin that adds hydration to alien foods (Alien Squid Food -25 Dehydration [half of a bottle of water] and Alien Worm Food -20 Dehydration), hope this helps.
