Certain NV NPCs hostile to Dogmeat

Post by Rukaven » Tue Nov 18, 2014 9:17 pm

I walked out of the strip North Gate (coming from the Lucky 38) with Dogmeat in tow and the Securitrons outside all turned hostile toward Dogmeat. No other companions or me, just him. They attack him, and he attacks them on sight. I also went to Jacobstown and as I entered the Lodge, after having a conversation with Keane Dogmeat turned hostile and started fighting him, which led to my other companion being hit in the process and starting all out war which got Doctor Henry killed.

The only mods I have installed other than TTW are: TTW My Home Is Your Home and an alternate version of the No Karma DC Followers Optional that I found posted here somewhere (The one that lets you have Unlimited followers). I am running TTW 2.7.2.

So as much as I love Dogmeat, It seems I can't take him round Vegas with me properly. I've tried disabling these mods and checking but to no avail. I wonder what could be causing this. Any help would be much appreciated.

This bug was already

This bug was already discovered by myself and is fixed for the next release, it affects all FO3 companions.

If you want to fix it yourself before release, add all the companions to the donttazemebro faction and the guards at the gate will no longer become hostile to them. You'll probably have to revert to a save before you entered the strip however.

Ahh thanks. I tried searching the forums but didn't see anything. I haven't noticed this with other companions yet so I thought it was just him. At least I know to save often if I'm travelling with any FO3 companions around NV. Thanks!
