The one I've espoused in the past is build YOU. Guesstimate on your own personal stats and make those your player. It leads to a very interesting playthrough. Mine is usually high Luck, Charisma, Intelligence, a little below average strength endurance agility, abysmal perception.

You are about 6 points shy of max, I would give a +1 to all but one stat to make sure you aren't TOO weak.

Just pour points into sneak and melee weapons, boost your Endurance to 6 you SHOULD be able to get most melee perks. You'll do alright, just gotta play to your strengths. That speech and barter focus will really help your money stretch and the high charisma will make your companions just a bit stronger.

Starting with all that equipment doesn't really sound like a challenge, to be honest.

Doesn't sound like much of a challenge, but does sound highly amusing.

flamer fuel doesn't start to show up in abundance for a few levels, so unless he knows where the corn is, he's kinda stuck with what he's got.  though he could've gone totally krieg with it and used an incinerator, so he'd be on fire as often as possible.

perms:  either a full fireworks display spelling out "Puppettron Made This" anytime a user accesses my content in-game, or just give me credit somewhere.

I do challenge runs on

Post by Courtesy » Sat Dec 27, 2014 3:55 pm

I do challenge runs on Fallout NV all the time. I think I could drop off a few of my old ones. All of these are on max difficulty with hardcore mode turned on of course.

  1. Low luck (3 or less) pistol-only run.

  2. A run I called "Statistically challenged" was my hardest run yet. As soon as it begins, you drop everything that Doc Michell gives you, and then activate the console, and set all your SPECIAL stats to 1. You'd find it unbelievable how hard the game will become when by level 20 you still don't have even 2 skills maxed, and your other skills are still at 9.

  3. Pychosis: In this run you must immediately trek north to New Vegas. You side with Yes-Man, and never, even once, have a conversation with anyone whom is not a robot. Since you never speak to anyone else ever, you can't purchase anything, and all questlines must be resolved by death.
