So as I was walking through DC a few times, I came across a Wild Wasteland trigger and drums started playing. Anyone know what it's referencing? Or is it just some music to be played in random places?

I believe Wild Wasteland is a perk that one can take at the beginning of the NV game. With the perk a slew of weird encounters will pop up once in a while. If you have the perk something was supposed to happen, and it may have. Not all the Wild Wasteland encounters are obvious.

It is a TTW added Wild Wasteland encounter. Half of the fun as a developer is watching you guys discover this stuff and discover what it is referencing so I will not tell exactly what it is. It is the percussion track for a little known song performed by ZZ Top.
