So I just started playing, and I want to know early. How exactly do I go from the Capital to the Mojave and vice versa? Is it a quest unlock, or a level requirement? The instructions were not clear on this.

Go to Union station, beside
Go to Union station, beside Dukov place, with 500 bottlecaps and activate the train. Be warned, there's quite a few ghouls inside.
