How about a mod where we could collect Potato Crisps boxes and have a chance of getting a piece of the so called Moon Map and after we got enough of those we would get a treasure map to some ancient secret cache of something see? there it is that amazing imagination again ha ha ha

That's not a bad idea. When you use a box, you have a chance to get a piece. But what would it lead to? Would have to be prewar stuff. It would have been some contest or something, whoever found all the moon maps would have a chance to decipher the clues and find the treasure. In order to prevent it from being opened without the pieces, the map could have a password for a terminal keeping the door locked. What kind of loot? Lifetime supply of potato crisps? lol

And that chance could be based by your Luck value I am in favor of everything in the game that has a chance of happening being luck dependent, like star caps from the Sarsaparilla bottles and Nuka-Cola quantum from Vending Machines that's why I remember using a mod that we would get star caps depending on our luck .

But yes, maybe a new small building somewhere called Potato Crisps Prize Vault (or something) hiding in a small cave that would only get a map marker after getting all the pieces, with the terminal like Senterpat said where we would unlock it with the password given by the full assembled map.

Moon maps were rather popular before the first moon orbit and later landing.

National Geographic even printed a map of both the near and far side of the moon just after the far side had been surveyed from orbit.
