Barkskin perk change

Post by a2937 » Mon Jun 12, 2017 6:55 pm

I seem to have never found the Oasis, but it still does not stop from me from requesting a simple change. The barkskin perk could easily have a plus one endurance added, since it does not match the official Fallout 3 guide.

Thank you. Have a nice day. Maybe I will go exploring the Wasteland a little more in the future.

That takes less than a minute to do in the GECK.  Just find the perk barkskin and add the +1 endurance.  If you have issues there are tons of guides and even video tutorials on how to create your own perks in the GECK.

Just to mention that the official FO3 guide was published way before the game was finished and released and has MANY errors and mistakes. That one is one of them.

For example, it says that consuming Ant Nectar gives +2 INT and +2 CHA while in the game it reduces 2 CHA and INT. It says there are gas masks in vault 106 to prevent the hallucinations but there are none. It says raiders will not attack you if you have a bad karma. It says you need 6 PER to get the perks Lawbringer and Contract Killer but in the game you don't need any PER. It says that Super Mutants will drop fingers if you have the Lawbringer perk while they never drop fingers. It says that if you have a high science skill you can boost the signal of GNR while installing the satellite dish, the game doesn't do anything different while installing the dish no matter whatever skill values you have. It says you can get strange meat from human corpses while in the game you can't. It says you can get an Alien Blaster from the Fort Constantine but you can only get Alien Cells in the game there. It says that the Pitt Fighter perk increases RAD and DR by 25 , while in the game it increases by 3. It says that the pipboy Radio affects your sneak and enemies will see you better, while in the game having the Pipboy radio on or off does nothing for your sneak (only the Pipboy light affects the sneak)... And so on, and so on (these things are not even 1/5 of all the errors in that Guide), there are really a lot of wrong things in that book.

TTW will not have anything changed to match that book since that book didn't match the actual FO3 and DLCs.
