So I tried TTW earlier this

Post by H3llbAne » Thu Nov 06, 2014 9:53 pm

So I tried TTW earlier this year and just started playing on it again last night after updating everything. I have to say I've noticed a difference in performance of TTW and the mods that you guys(and the original mod authors) made to work with it since my last play through with this mod.  After nearly 24 hours of almost nonstop gameplay, the only bugs I have seen are Moriarty in nothing but his underwear the first time I entered his saloon(fixed itself after that), and some audio dropout for the securitron in the super market when you first activate it and give it the staff ID.

Other than that I have had no encounters with bugs, slowdowns or crashes even though my game is heavily modded.(PN,NS, NMC textures, ect.) I'm amazed that you guys have been able to take a whole game, make it into a mod for its successor, and make it work better than both games ever could separately. Seriously awesome work.

more praise here,

so many months ago i had to reinstall fallout nv, and right after i was about to add mods and realized . I no longer can play fallout without TTW installed. like it is now Essential for me, and i thank the team and everyone involved in creating and developing this, i honestly believe this is the greatest mod to ever be created for fallout. much props and respect to the team.

aonce you try it. you will want to have it installed everytime. It brings you into the game more, i always loved the Fallout 3 beginning, and it goes so perfect with when you enter the mojave . i love how perfectly it all goes together and how flawlessly ttw installs and the new installer is great, im proud this team exist and brought this mod and community into existence. fallout wouldnt be the same without you all.

I'm installing TTW right now, and while I haven't played it yet (obviously), the concept is perfect, and I know if I have any problems, I can get help from the people who made it (as long as I provide enough information!). That's a great feeling, since sometimes mod creators just let you fly on your own. I'm very excited to play this!

Some of the bug reports are amusing, as well. :) Thank you guys so much for making this and being so helpful! I can definitely see this as being one of my "essential" mods.

TTW is a great mod that I have enjoyed immensely. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to play Fo3. And the community is simply exemplary.

I just wanted to join the love fest! TTW has been a fantastic experience, and the subtle introduction of NV content into the Capitol City Wasteland with the optional TTW add-on mods has been great!

I agree with Manhogard that the 4GB patch is essential, but I also found the New Vega Stutter Remover was essential too, but only after enabling heap handler replacement and boosting the heap size to 500. After that I have had almost flawless operation, with only the very occasional freeze when changing from 1st person to 3rd person camera.

The game works brilliantly on my UHD monitor: 3840x2160 is a great way to view the Wasteland!

Bestest mod[s] EVER! And getting better alla time.

I've posted my love and appreciation for y'all before, but damn, there's just so much more to give congrats and kudos for.

Been watching and lurking for a few months, checking out what's been going on.

Now, due to a damn work slowdown and layoff [temp. I'm told, maybe a month or two], I'm back like the dirty, smelly gym sock you find after you've done all the laundry.

Which gives me more than the hour or two I could spare during my eves for modding or playing. Gonna be learnin' mo' stuff.

Just finished a fresh install of all, took less than 4 hours with my rig, INCLUDING complete game downloads of both FO3 and FNV from Steam, then TTW'ing it all.

[Well, the main prep anyway, now it's 'what mods shall I' time].

[Amazing people! The new TTW 2.7.3 took my machine less than 15 minutes to convert FO3 to TTW! WOWZERS!!!].

Superlative! Incroyable! Magnifico!

!!!!!THANKS ALL!!!!!

Uh...to "outsidefactor"...heap handler replacement? Where dat at?

Even with both NVSR and NVAC installed, I've had stutter, stagger, and freezing in some of my more heavily modded and script heavy play-through attempts of the past despite my rigs capabilities.

Would love to negate it, eh.

!!!!!Again, THANKS ALL!!!!!
