I was thinking, the Infiltrator from the Pitt has a scope, silencer and larger chip then the standard assault rife. Why not use those parts to make mods for the standard assault rife: expanded clip, scope and silencer. I made a go at this and replaced the clip the nif file, then I realized I need to modify the texture so the longer clip is textured correctly, which I don't know how to do. At any rate this seems like some that would be nice to have as part of the main mod.

The team actually talked about this and the reason why we decided against making those mods for the Assault Rifle is exactly because, as you say, it would make the R91 like the infiltrator - and then, why not just use an infiltrator?

Good point, thought personal
Good point, thought personal I would still like the larger clip as a mod. For other mods I suppose you could emulate the new Vegas assault rifles, have mods like, forged receiver to increase the condition, collapsible* or carbon stock to reduce weight, light bolt for higher rate of fire.
*would require some model work thought

Hmm I haven't seen it, I've seen the mod for the combat shotgun, I wonder if my old vender fix from the requiem days I'm using isn't over writing your guys vender lists, or are the mods very rare? Guess I have to check. Worst case all I have to is add them to my modded vender lists.

the mods are from 2.7, i have a feeling that unless your vendor fix is heavily scripted with interesting code, it's overwriting in the bad way.

Indeed it was over writing in a bad way, well seeing as I'm lazy I'm going to make a quick and dirty fix were just add the new mods to one of the modified list. I didn't realise this was happening because apparently the level list modification of mine is playing well with yours, I saw a few raiders with service rifles, a weapon I didn't give them. So I figured that the vendor lists were playing well too, but that wasn't the case.
