Traveling at anytime?

Post by Rainman89 » Tue Oct 01, 2013 3:54 am

This has probably been asked before and if so please send me a link to the thread and lock this after it's been answered.

My question is can you travel from one wasteland to the other and vise versa at anytime?

Also can you take your weapons back and forth or do you lose them?

you just have to find the D.C

Post by chucksteel » Tue Oct 01, 2013 4:12 am

you just have to find the D.C. train station (it is near Dukav's Pad) Buy a ticket and your on your way to NV. there is no level restriction. Once you get to NV You'll see the NV intro, Get shot in the head and wake up in the Doc's house. You then will need to make your way back to Freeside to get back to D.C.

You can take anything back and forth and never loose your stuff. I have even set up the passenger cars as a storage location so you can stash loot there that you can't carry but want to take to the opposite wasteland.

I know you can with vanilla

I know you can with vanilla companions not sure about the limiter being turned off but I assume it will work just fine. I also don't know about custom companions but again I haven't heard any one complaining that they lost one.

You still have the vanilla companion restrictions for the FO3 DLC unless you have a mod to change that.

Do you have a rough estimated time when the full version will be completed.

None what so ever, we still

Post by chucksteel » Tue Oct 01, 2013 5:18 am

None what so ever, we still have a tone of work to do and this is a WIP. Jax is working on fixing up the installer to work with XP and some other issues. It is fully playable as it stands and only has minor bugs nothing game breaking. Version 2.3 is out for team testing now. We are looking for issues and once the installer gets fixed up it should be released to the public but we will be working on this and updating it for some time to come.

Thats awesome news, will we have to start a new game? And it runs amazingly stable for beeing fallout NV. (some of the DLC are a bit wonky with hardcore and suffer a bunch of crash issues, but nothing major.)
