Load order of the team members

Post by manos » Tue Apr 22, 2014 6:55 pm

Hi everyone,

I have a suggestion: Can the members of the TTW's team post some effective load order?

It could be a good thing to tell TTW's users how the team members play on it and which mods they using with it.

Just to say: "Hey, TTW also works with this load order!"

Nothing big, just a "copy/paste" of your "effective/trusted" load order :)

TTW require a lot of time guys, i know that. So i will totaly understand if you don't want to loose your time with this but i hope you will!

Thanks and tchuss!

Once I finish rebuilding my game I will add my load order but I don't know how helpful it will be. It only contains mods I deem essential and mods I'm currently working on.

the most mods I've ever ran is about 35 to 40 mostly things like Grib's Delay DLC and Darn UI. Not to mention my mods TTWInt and so on. again I don't think my load order will be all that useful but I do test other mods and look at them to see how the authors did the stuff they did. laugh

Not to say this is a bad idea

Not to say this is a bad idea, but anyone who has a (stable) complex load order has probably spent a lot of time making custom comparability patches themselves. Or do a TJ and just merge them.

I spent 3 hours /solely/ creating my merged patch. And it wasnt even close to 100%. Just the most egregious conflicts.

There is no such thing as a "working" load order once you start using things like PN, FOOK, EVE, WMX/WME, etc together. Not even with the stupidly large amount of pre made compatibility patches. You actually need to make the merges/edits yourself if you want your game to run smoothly with all the stuff added by mods.

Since we are on the topic of Wyre and FNVedit, is there a good instructional video(s) on the two?  Reading the written material is like reading a Linux Guide Book, good detail but just not enough or it could be my learning style since everyone has a different learning style.  Any way, I have a pretty stable game and I have some bit of a grasp on those two utilities but not at expert level to have a completely stable game or to create patches taking full advantage of the utilities.

I know the rule about "load order" : Keep it low like the one of Risewild.

I was just thinking that it could be useful for users like me, who always want more and more mods.

So those users could have an example to follow, a limit.

Obviously big mods like PN, could be a real pain to make it work properly with a big load order but what about "Not heavy mods" that make all the difference like "GNR Enhanced" ??

Maybe, one of you has a standard "load order" that could be interesting!
