Thanks and congrats - general thread

Post by thermador » Mon Oct 29, 2012 3:31 pm

Just wanted to start a thank you thread.  The whole team has been working tirelessly on getting out the new version of TTW, and it is amazing.

I played the current public alpha for most of the day yesterday (terrible rainy weather we're having haha, time for games).

I am really impressed with how stable and consistent the gameplay was, and how easy it was to download and install.  I would make a bug report about it, but after about 10 hours of gameplay, I still hadn't experienced any bugs.

Kudos to all, but especially JaxFirehart, chucksteel, sesom, and risewild who have been working on this more than the rest of us.

Not coincidentally, they are also the most frequent posters on our site.

Top 10 Posters as of right now:

chucksteel - 191

Risewild - 151

JaxFirehart - 148

sesom - 103

thermador - 99

AngelusMalus - 53

ElvenScoundrel - 36

seldalore - 27

darthbdaman - 23

Dysthe - 23

So cheers and beers, here's to TTW!

I'll have to second this

Post by StarletHologram » Mon Oct 29, 2012 6:17 pm

I'll have to second this thread, MANY THANKS GUYS!!!!!. This project is great, not only because it makes possible to play two superb games together, but for all the stability and possibilities that is providing. I'm really impressed and pleased to see that now I can play without the constant crashes I used to had. Now I can use mods that I thought were beyond of my reach, use a more amount of them. Oh, and one notable improvement  from Demo to Alpha version is that now ENB series and mods like Nevada Skies can be used. Really, many, many thanks!!!!!!. Keep up with the good work!!!

Thanks for mentioning me

Post by Risewild » Mon Oct 29, 2012 10:06 pm

Thanks for mentioning me there laugh but I am a tester and so my job is playing the awesome game, that being said there is no better motivation for me to do it wink.

Not trying to diminish the hours I spent finding and writing bug reports, but I still can't put myself on the top of the list, real thanks must go for the creators and developers of this great mod Tales of Two Wastelands. I look back and think how much I tested and re-tested stuff, started the game and repeated the vault 101 beginning over and over (started to wish there was a skip cut scenes button somewhere cheeky) and still I am sure that work wouldn't even be close to what others had to go through to reach this point and this quality.

Thanks guys for your hard work, and for bringing me along this great ride cool.

PS: And thermador I know exactly what you mean by playing for hours and find no bugs, it is awesome that this mod became so stable and bug free by the alpha launch, but it makes the job of testers very hard from now on angel darn what happened to the five bug reports filled and posted in just a couple of hours of playing?

I just found out some days

Post by Delphi » Fri Nov 02, 2012 8:38 am

I just found out some days ago, that this project hasn´t died and was very happy to hear this. Then I tried out your alpha download (without too much expectations, since it´s still alpha) and I was totally impressed with how good everything is already working!

Since I´m a diehard Fallout New Vegas fan I´m so glad that I can now play Fallout 3 with so many great new features, and even most of my favorite mods seem to be working! I can´t even express my gratitude :) Thank you so much!

I´m still looking around, but I didn´t find anything about donating for the project. In case you guys need funding and/or accept paypal donations just drop me a line.

Thank you for this awesome

Thank you for this awesome mod. I'm still trying to find bugs but most people are faster than me. Work leaves not much time at the moment. This will change when Holiday comes.

You are a great team.

Thank you again.
