Well I borked something good

Well I borked something good and proper. Crash at the Bethesda screen again. Swirlied the whole shebang and did a fresh install for the 10,000th time. Created test characters in both 3 and NV to make sure they installed right, running the TTW installer again. Absolutely nothing extra added yet. No GECK, no NVSE, nada. Wish me luck...

Thats the problem. It supports ONLY English copies at the moment. I'm working on a translation framework but it might be a while.

Do you reckon that eventually we'll be able to install FO3 mods normally, no conversion necessary? Or maybe if a changing or adding of a master is necessary, it can be done dynamically as the game is loading?

Hi, I'm new here and I've seen some talk about future foreign language support. I was wondering about an ETA on that? If it's any time within this summer, I may be willing to translate the TTW files into Spanish.

Well a member called Trust has a TTW Russian translation project where he seems to be doing quite well, I would point him out to you so you could talk to him and see how he does it and all of that, but to be honest he was quite active around here but I haven't seen him for a while.


TTW just got a new version (2.0) and it's already in 2.2a but since it was a total rewriting of TTW, many bugs that were already fixed in older versions came back, so it is taking a while to fix them and release the new version, I say this because thanks to that TTW will probably not be focused for other languages for a while since there are a lot of work that needs to be done for it to be in a state that would enable the devs to start working on different languages support.


So I dare to say that I don't think a multi-language TTW is in plan for the near future sad although members are encouraged to do their own translation projects laugh and I am sure that the community and the team would be very happy to help answering any questions and help with any difficulties that might come from such a project wink.
