Hi,

Post by RickySloanKR » Wed Jun 11, 2014 8:29 pm

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is an issue or not?

I'm getting the same issue as 'dogsovereasy'. Getting lots of file of unexpected version error messages when building the Fallout3 - MenuVoices module. Everything else works fine.

PS: I would also like to thank the team for their continued support of this project.

Regards

Just a successful instal.log

For this one, I used a French copy of FNV and an English copy of FO3.

And a not successful Instal.log

For this one I tried to run the installer with a French copy of FNV and a French copy of FO3.

I guess you won't be interested by this one , I've posted it "just in case" that you would see it.

Actually, a lot of the recent changes to the installer are slowly working toward foreign compatibility. If you want to be a test subject, run the installer with a french Fallout3, ignoring any errors, and post the install log. It would be helpful.

I'm using a Steam version of FNV and FO3.

I've edited my posts above.

The first one was made with an English FO3 and a French FNV.

The second one was made with a French copy of FNV and a French copy of FO3.

With a French coy of FNV and a French copy of FO3:

-TTW 2.4:  the patcher was able to patch everything but not the FO3's plugins.

-TTW 2.6:  the patcher doesn't recognize some files of the "Fallout3 - sounds".

I believe it's because of the "checksum" ,because the audio files from French and English version are not the same so the patcher see an error, is that it?

Yeah I need to tell it to ignore voice file checksums so that I can boost non-english compatibility

Finally got around to trying

Finally got around to trying the new installer. Got a few errors.

Game versions are fresh downloads from Steam. They are completely unmodded. Made sure to place them in a short path (C:\T\F3 for Fallout 3 | C:\T\NV for new Vegas | C:\T\TW for TTW) after learnin' about the filepath issue. Made no difference.

Edit: Fixed by using Steam's file-verifying-thingmy. Right-click the game (in steam) -> Properties -> Local Content -> Verify

Thanks all!
Having a wonderful time with TTW.
You guys are amazing.
Always bring a companion or two that is slower than you.
Because you don't need to out run a Deathclaw.
You just need to out run your companions (Just bring a lot of companions in case the Deathclaw is really hungry!).
