New News is Good News!

I only just saw it at the Home section, I first saw it under Recent Content and falsely assumed that it was a forum post... That was my bad.

What I meant was that we should have a News hyperlink on the Main Menu...

Ah yeah, I would agree if it weren't automatically on the front page. Thanks for the suggestion, on rereading I may have come off a bit snippy, not my intention.

As I said in the team only thread, welcome to the team Fangirl . Don't mind Chuck, once you praise him a bit about his work he will be happy again that or beer...

It is great that you will be the News Development person around here, it is an important job to keep all of the community informed and no one around ever had the time to do it (me guilty of it as well). Although I hope you don't get too burden by community members questions and stuff . I haven't been on for a while so I didn't get the chance to know you better but you seem quite fit to be in the team and do this job quite well.

Keep up the great work (by the way I am addicted to smileys around here so if you see a post with tons of them in it you will know it was made by me instantly ).

Thanks, Risewild! It's great to feel so welcomed by the team and I'm definitely going to do my best to pull my weight and keep the news page up and running! I'll be happy to answer people's questions here (or on my blog for that matter) and I'll try to keep the community up to date and informed.

Don't lose hope, I haven't had time to do much for TTW in months, but it is still on my to-do list, I just have other obligations. The installer is the primary hold up, in order to fix problems many people were having it needed a complete overhaul and that is in testing by the team. There are also a few things I wanted to fix but didn't have time, but they are non-critical and have been set aside so that we can get 2.3 out soon.

You can certainly count on me to remember that! I'm doing this because I love Fallout, I love this mod, and I love this community. And I know the whole team does as well!
